Tourism & Hospitality Skills (ACT & Region) was established to provide tourism training advisory services in the ACT and region. 

Tourism is an emerging/maturing growth industry in the ACT and region.  As such, there is undoubtedly a need for tourism and hospitality advisory services to ensure the sustainable growth prospects for the industry.  Without access to an appropriately skilled and trained workforce the growth prospects of both the broader industry and individual enterprises are limited.

What does Tourism & Hospitality Skills (ACT & Region) do?

■ provide an industry view or perspective of tourism and hospitality training programs;

■ represent a vehicle to identify and effect changes to the provision and delivery of tourism and hospitality training needs; and

■ facilitate industry understanding and ownership of tourism and hospitality training activities by facilitating needs driven training.
