Political influence
As the industry’s principle lobbying and advocacy body, we are constantly before Governments seeking a better deal for tourism. The Tourism Industry Council has developed effective and productive relationships with all sectors of the ACT Government as well as the Federal Government. Industry development
Our role goes beyond lobbying to boosting industry performance through the Australian Tourism Accreditation Program and through the supporting the Canberra and Capital Region Tourism Awards.
