Objectives
The Tourism Industry Council (ACT & Region) objectives are:
■ To provide effective industry leadership and facilitate the development of tourism in the ACT & Capital Region.
■ To provide appropriate membership services and benefits.
■ To be proactive in the development of tourism industry policy to meet members’ and industry needs.
■ To manage the Council’s operations and finances in a manner that ensures the Council’s growth and financial stability.
■ To develop community, business, and government awareness and understanding of the value of tourism to the ACT & Region.
■ To enhance the development and delivery of quality experiences for visitors within and to the Region, particularly with regards to the integrity and standards of service provision.
■ Facilitate appropriate student and graduate employment development opportunities.
